June 2005 Workshop Agenda and Goals

Original Workshop Announcement and Agenda for June 2004 Strategy Workshop

The Goals:
  1. Develop a strategy and the skills we need to complete the WBD linework and attributes for California’s submission to the National Watershed Boundary Dataset.

  2. The California WBD linework will form the basis of any future versions of the CalWater dataset.

  3. The Watershed Delineation workshops held throughout the state over the last three years have resulted in “Draft Concept Lines” that need further review and correction to make them accurate at the 1:24K scale and FGDC compliant.

  4. At the Workshop, we will develop a Statewide Strategy and Work Plan to complete the WBD in California, and begin reviewing these concept lines while we learn the procedures needed to finish the WBD for California.
